The instrumental training for the Viola for each of the Three Cycles consists of the following training areas:

CELLO;

VOICE;
The training course for Voice is aimed at preparing the students to the academic level courses in the following specializations: Singing (lyric/solo singing), vocal chamber music, and Renaissance/Baroque Singing.
Students applying for Voice must be 16 years or older.

String, Woodwind, and Brass Instruments’ students are required to participate in the Orchestra when they reach the adequate level. Covers the following training areas:

CHOIR

All Theory and Instrument students are required to participate in one of the Choirs of the Magnificat, based on age.
– Yasmeen Buds Choir (7-11 years)
– Yasmeen Choir (12-16 years)
– Magnificat Choir (16-above)
CHILDREN’S GROUP

All new students between the ages of 4-7 years are required to participate in the Children’s Group. The Children’s Group prepares students in:
– Musical sense
– Singing (co-relating singing with physical movement)
– Introduction to classical music
– Rhythms
